Tea Dance at BREC's Womack Ballroom

Tea Time takes place each Tuesday in the Womack Ballroom

Address: 6201 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70806

Volunteer Time: 11AM-3:30PM

Join us in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our Tea Time Dance participants! Volunteers will assist with event setup, greeting guests, serving refreshments and lunch, helping participants find seating, assisting with light cleanup, and creating a friendly atmosphere throughout the event. Volunteers may also help participants navigate the dance area, encourage social interaction, and support staff as needed.

Tea Time Dance is a weekly social event featuring live entertainment, refreshments, lunch, and plenty of dancing. It provides older adults and community members with an opportunity to stay active, meet new friends, and reconnect with familiar faces. Lunch is served from noon to 1:00 p.m., with music and dancing beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Volunteers should be friendly, patient, and enjoy working with people in a social setting. No dance experience is required, just a positive attitude and a willingness to help others have a great time!
